STORMPAY.COM WEEKLY RACING SERIES ROUND UP FOR MAY 28

CARTERSVILLE, GA – It was an active Memorial Day weekend for the ninth week of
the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series with several new names showing up in the top
ten of the Regional point standings.  Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS, Frank Wilson of
Milton, FL, and Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL remain on top of their respective
Regional point chases.



Reynolds has accumulated 473 points in 12 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West
Region starts, and has an 83 point lead over the defending StormPay.com WRS West
Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS.  Keeton took his fourth win of the
season on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS to bring his tally
to 390 points in eight starts.



Owen Stockstill of Columbia, MS holds down the third spot in the StormPay.com WRS
West Region with 268 points in seven starts.  Jim Moon of Zionsville, IN used his first
win of the season on Saturday night at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, IN to
jump into the fourth spot in the West Region with 257 points in six starts.



Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is fifth in West Region points with 244 in six starts, and
Indiana driver Steve Godsey took his second win of the season on Tuesday night at
Twin Cities Raceway Park to move up to the sixth position in the West Region point
standings.  Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS is seventh with 231 points in six starts.



Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL moved into the top ten of the West Region with his third
win of the season on Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.  
Mosley has 222 points in five starts.  Jay Blair of Angie, LA is tied for the ninth spot in
the StormPay.com WRS West Region with Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS.  Each driver
has 220 points.



In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action over the weekend,
Indiana driver Brad Barrow took his second series win of the season on Friday night at
Thunder Valley Raceway in Salem, IN on Friday night, and Jamie Pickard of Columbus,
MS was the winner on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.  
Monticello Speedway in Monticello, AR did not report.



It’s all about the “Milton Mafia” in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South
Region, as drivers from Milton, FL fill the region’s news and the top three point
positions.  Wilson has accumulated 552 points in 14 starts to lead Bobby Morrison of
Milton, FL by 77 points.  Morrison has 475 points in 12 starts.  Scott Sessions of Milton,
FL is third with 448 points in 12 starts.



Dewayne Morris of River Falls, AL is fourth in the StormPay.com WRS South Region
points chase with 383 points in 12 starts.  Kevin Watts of Denham Springs, LA is fifth in
the South Region with 306 points in eight starts, and Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL is sixth
with 304 points in seven South Region starts.



Another “Milton Mafia” member, Taylor Jarvis of Milton, FL is seventh in the StormPay.
com WRS South Region standings with 280 points in nine starts, Richard Guidry of
Port Allen, LA is eighth with 276 points in seven starts.  Kevin Maher of McDavid, FL is
ninth with 259 points in eight starts.



Chris Coggin of Orange Beach, AL moved into the top ten of the StormPay.com WRS
South Region points with his third win of the season on Saturday night at Butler County
Motorsports Park in Greenville, AL.  Coggin rounds out the top ten of the South Region
standings with 243 points in six starts.



In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region action over the weekend,
“Milton Mafia” member Joshua Joiner of Milton, FL picked up his second series win of
the season on Friday night at Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman, FL.



Another second time winner was Michael Santangelo of St. Rose, LA, who won his
second straight on Saturday night at A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA.  Baton Rouge Raceway
in Baton Rouge, LA and Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS did not report.



The top three in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region traveled to
Chatsworth. GA on Saturday night to pick up their ten bonus points by competing with
the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Tour at North Georgia Speedway.  
Elkins now has 486 points in 12 starts.



Logan Yates of Delta, AL is second in the StormPay.com WRS East Region with 342
points in seven starts, and Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is third in the East Region
with 315 points in seven starts.  Parrish Duncan of Newnan, GA is fourth with 305
points in eight starts, and Darel Ownbey of Calhoun, GA is fifth with 276 points in six
starts.



Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA is sixth in the StormPay.com WRS East Region
standings with 267 points in seven starts, and Keith Freeman of Commerce, GA is
seventh with 263 points in seven starts.  Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL holds down the
eighth spot with 257 points in seven starts, and Michael White of Lexington, GA is ninth
with 248 points in seven starts.  Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA rounds out the top ten
in the East Region with 247 points in six starts.



There was limited action in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region last
week due to the National Touring events at Cookeville Speedway in Cookeville, TN on
Friday night, and at North Georgia Speedway on Saturday night.



Shane Roberts of Blountville, TN remains undefeated at 411 Motor Speedway in
Knoxville, TN after picking up his fourth straight win on Tuesday night.  Ty Lowe of
Commerce, GA was the winner on Sunday night at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA.
